Kevin Shiner, Managing Partner

In the summer of 1980, Robert Shiner formed Shiner Roofing and began working on the neighborhood roofs. Kevin, at that time a high school student, worked alongside his father part-time. After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from George Mason University, Kevin continued with Shiner Roofing, while simultaneously running a local marketing firm.

In 1990, Kevin formed Shiner Roofing, Incorporated and began working in the business full-time where in his current capacity as President of the Company, he is responsible for all facets of the business and activities, supervision of Operations, Production, and all activities related to the organization and structure of Shiner Roofing. Kevin is a Panel Member for the Professional Roofer’s Advisory Council, a Business Member for both the National Association of the Remodeling Industry and the Metro Washington Better Business Bureau, and maintains a Quality Master and Select Shingle Roofer status with the CertainTeed Corporation.

In June, 2011, Shiner Solar was formed to address the needs of customers inquiring about solar power, solar shingles, and other solar energy options for homes and businesses.
